What an a-hole! But don't let one jerk ruin your faith in people!

OMG, so not cool! What a little punk. You do need to enforce this, not only to get your money, but to teach him a little lesson about how life works!

Good for you for just trying to help someone out and also for getting what he owes you!! Goodluck!!

OH NO HE DIDN'T!
That kid has some nerve. It doesn't sound like he has a leg to stand on in court. As far as eating you out of house and home...I'm not surprised! These young guys can really EAT!
Thanks so much for coming on over and playing along with OH NO HE DIDN'T! Tuesday. I'm so glad you did. Have a great day.

First of all, that was too nice of you, and second of all, I hate, hate, hate people that take advantage. errrrr, I'm sure if you want a whole backup of people when you go to court, we would be there!!!!!!

What a crazy story! Sounds like the apple didn't fall too far from that tree.

Have a great Tuesday!

That sucks! We had a similar situation with a good "friend" who borrowed $1,000 from us. He sat in our house and gave us this pitiful story and told us oh so earnestly how he would pay us back as soon as he could and he even hand wrote and signed a "contract" for repayment. That was over 12 years ago. We heard he gave a gorgeous diamond engagement ring to his girlfriend. But no repayment for us. Never again! Good luck in court - I hope you get your money back!!!

That stinks. But I will refrain from directing my "neener neener" at him... because he messed with the wrong lady (who happens to know all the cops in town)...

neener neener

ooops, it slipped. I swear...

WOW. He's a douchenozzle. Stuff like that had happened to my parents before when we were growing up. I don't like to help people because of experiences like that!

But way to get him back!

Wish I could say he is going to learn a lesson from this :(

Oh no! I know how you feel. We've been done the exact same way before. It really does put a huge dent in your charitable nature.
